Air Max 97 “Metallic Silver” Surfaces Ahead of Silhouette’s 25th Anniversary

As the Air Max 97begins to ramp up its 25th-anniversary campaign, you’ll begin to see your feed filled with colorways new and old. The next falls into the former category, with a brand-new take on Christian Tresser’s classic design — this one ostensibly honoring the OG Silver Bullet (which is also set to return next year, too!)

Up top, the pair is dressed from toe-to-tail in silver hues, with mesh uppers, leather mudguards, 3M reflective overlays, and branding all opting for complementary finishes. The laces and pulls, pulls, and liners do, too, but it’s not completely monochrome, as there is a slight hint of iridescent along the streaking medial overlay. Underfoot you’ll find more silver stowed away in the Air supports, wrapped entirely in white rubbers and foams to complete the design.
