Air Max season is nigh, and as is always the case around January each year, we begin to see a sizeable collection of Air Max unveilings. The next is this Air Max 97 “Oxidized” offering that brings a unique finish to the fan-favorite sneaker lineage.

Anchored in a clean teal mesh upper, the pair proceeds with 3M reflective overlays of copper, with muted browns in support at the liners, tongue overlays, and lower leather overlays, too. Mudguards receive the titular rustic finish, with metallic copper leathers featuring a patina-like green coat. From there, a simple sail sole unit hosts muted brown rubber outsoles, while copper returns once more on the stowed Air supports.
