The Air Max 97 Appears in Pink and Black Patent Leather

It took a while for the the25th anniversary of the Air Max 97to take shape, but with summer being the silhouette’s key season, we’ve seen nothing but heat from Cristian Tresser’s iconic design. The next of which appears in a striking pink and black patent leather with is equal parts feminine as it is brutal.

Jet black overlays of high-gloss leather make a serious statement on this all-new Air Max release, with its pink undertones offering up a soft backdrop to counter. The two colors alternate along the tongues, laces, liners and pulls, with brand embroidery reserved exclusively for pastels. Underfoot, a classic white midsole resides, with Air supports of jet black, and rubber outsoles of light grey rounding out the design.

A release date for this brand-newAir Max 97 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com in the coming weeks.
