Nike Air Max 97 “Red Satin” is Releasing Soon

Air Max season is nigh, and as is always the case in the early months of each year, we begin to see a sizeable collection of unveilings in anticipation of the annual March celebration of Air. The next is a striking new Air Max 97 “Red Satin” colorway that ushers in a premium mix of materials.

Joining the recently-revealed Nike Dunk Low “UNLV Satin”and this satin-clad Air Force 1 Low in spirit, this new iteration of the Air Max 97 features the sleek textile though the upper’s build. It also harnesses a red hue, which seems to be a running theme through the wider Nike Sportswear series. Here, Nike have deployed the pigment in the majority, with uppers, tonuges, reflective overlays, mudguards, mid panels and laces all proffering tonal hues. Bright whites break it up at the medial line, midsole, and brand markings, with bookends of black at the collar and outsole rounding out the desgin.
