It seems that the “Scream Green” Air Max 90 won’t be the only denim-clad creation on deck to celebrate the parent sneaker line’s 35th anniversary in 2022, with the surfacing of a second addition to the collection coming by way of this Nike Air Max 97 SE “Sport Turbo”

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in its own right, the Air Max 97 also shows some love to the 35-year Air Max mark with special XXXV embroidery at the forefoot and markings at the tongues and insoles. The latter two are accompanied by a color code and a written “Sport Turbo” motif that ties into the series’ overarching scheme. Other elements, like dark navy denim, are employed, too, with new-to-line textiles like corduroy and new mesh weaves are present, too. Color-wise, you can see a striking mix of black, white, and the titular bright aqua hue worked in select sections.
