Nike will expand its sustainable Terrascape series with a third model, with this Air Max 97 Terrascape joining retooled options of the Air Max 90 and Air Max Plus under the same moniker.

The second colorway tosurface deviates away from the earthy hues first seen, instead opting for sea-blue and green hues for an ocean-like aesthetic. Here, it’s barely-there blue that hits the one-piece mesh upper and it’s overlaying sheath that aims to mimic Christian Tresser’s original design lines. Its overlocked stitchwork runs along the medial line in navy, with reinforced mudguards, open mesh mid panels, and hidden waves across the upper half. Swooshes are absent from the aforementioned mid-panel, instead arriving oversized at the lateral ankle in a bright teal hue. Midsoles arrive completed in Grind Rubber, with flecked outsoles following in its sustainable cause. Terrascpae branding hits the tongue, outsole, heel pull, and multi-colored insoles to complete the design.

A release date for this brand-new Nike Air Max 97 Terrascpae “Ocean Cube” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com soon.
