Nike Air Max 97 “Velcro Patch” is Coming Soon for Kids

There’s a new Nike Sportswear series brewing for the kids, all of which feature oversized N motif velcro patches and a shared monochrome scheme.

Like others before it from the series, the pack’s Air Max 97 arrives with a white and black build set against colorful neon accents. Here, heavily tumbled leather overlays in black add some serious texture and contrast to the white-based upper, while vibrant pops of bright blue, red, and volt hit the Swooshes, liners, and tongue overlays respectively. The latter is fixed with a Velcro finish to attached the included patch, before a simple white and black sole unit sits beneath to complete the design.

A release date for this new Nike Air Max 97 “Velcro Patch” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming months.
