Nike's Air Max Plus Reappears with A "Green" Gradient
Although the Nike Air Max Plus' original 'Hyper Blue' and 'Sunset' colorways are the model's most-coveted, Sean McDowell's design has launched in dozens of compelling styles since its debut in 1998.
High-profile collaborations and limited releases have also contributed to the sneaker's lore, but what's made the model an icon has been the slew of inline, readily-available makeovers found at a wide range of retailers. Soon enough, a 'Green Gradient' finish will join the Air Max Plus' catalog. Official color names haven't surfaced yet, but the mesh base opts for varying shades of green, while profile swooshes and Tuned Air units at the heel indulge in what seems like 'Barely Volt' flair. Whale tail-shaped shanks at the mid-foot also favor a gradient update, while accompanying components anchor the look in a classic 'Black'.
Interestingly enough, the Air-branded top of the tongue seemingly features a felt material, which adds another lifestyle touch to the silhouette originally designed for performance-running.

For more from the Tuned Air family, a 'Black' Air Max Plus VII is rumored to release during the Holiday 2025 season.
