Given the impossible task to follow-up what has become one of the most popular Air Maxes of all-time, the Swoosh delivered the Air Max Plus 2 in the year 2000. With all the hype around SHOX and the Air Max Plus 1 still reveling in popularity, the TN2 didn’t hit anywhere close to where Nike wanted it to. Though the updated model utilized the same Tn Air in the back, it’s exaggerated molded heel an aerodynamically driven upper design stands out as one of the lines best, despite being absent from Nike’s retro releases for the two decades proceeding its release. New images from US_11 reveal that the Air Max Plus 2 is on deck for the retro treatment, with (at least) six different colorways on the way, including a mix of originals and modern palettes.
