Nike Air Max Plus 3 in Bone and Black Has Big Batman Vibes

After a hectic return in 2019 — for the first time ever, mind you — the Air Max Plus 3 has been on sabbatical, with the silhouette taking a break during the back end of 2020 and most of 2021. There have been a few releases, though, with colorways sprouting up sporadically, like this new Air Max Plus 3 in Bone and Black.

reminiscent of retro Batman garb, the pair boasts a bold two-sectioned aesthetic, with bone grey uppers of mesh, plastic, and leather, and sole units, and rear clips of jet black. There’s also a bevy of bold gold throughout, including the mini Swooshes, forefoot branding, Air supports, and outsole detail, bringing us back to the aforementioned Batman reference. A handful of material tweaks make the pair even more intriguing, with multi-layered mesh uppers and 3M reflective laces adding a new flavor to the Air Max icon.
