Nike’s celebration of M. Frank Rudy’s revolutionary cushioning invention will branch into another new series, with this new Nike Air Max Plus “Air Pressure” set to extend the M. Frank Rudy series into a sub-collection that’s packed full of color.
Borrowing elements seen on the first-up Nike Air Max Plus “M. Frank Rudy,” the pair utilizes sketchy Swoosh graphics, translucent vein overlays, “EST.” insignia on the lateral Air bag wall, and blueprint insoles that showcase the proprietary tech. Here, though, the pair differentiates itself through a bevy of color, with striking neon green uppers and rich royal blue guards. It’s peppered with jet black accents, most noticeably on the Swoosh and midfoot shank, before a white and gum sole unit completes the design. The pair is then fitted with an air pressure gauge hang tag as a reference to the celebrated technology.
Though an official release date for this new Air Max Plus “Air Pressure” is unknown, you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months alongside some like-minded models. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
