New Air Max Plus Appears in Black, Royal and Grey

If there’s anything the Nike Air Max Plus is known for, it’s gradients. When Sean McDowell took inspiration from palm trees during a Florida sunset, who knew just what kind of trend he’d set in motion. Though it was originally used on the mesh uppers, it’s since been used in a multitude of ways, including as an effect on its signature vein overlays. Here it does just that, working from black to royal blue from the bottom up. It sits atop a black hex-mesh upper that’s wrapped in light grey guards, all of which comes anchored atop a multi-faceted sole unit. The bottom half of the show sits mostly in white, with outsoles of baby blue working into royal and black gradient midfoot shanks, and murdered-out Air supports to complete the design.

An official release date for the pair is still unknown, but you should expect to see this new Black/Royal/Grey Nike Air Max Plus hit select retailers and Nike.com soon.
