Though it’s widely known for gaudy gradients and vibrant hues, the Nike Air Max Plus is no stranger to the subdued. The next to surface is just that, pairing a simple black build with muted teal and red to great effect.
Though the pair is no-frills, it still kills; an everyman’s all-black base boasts tonal liners, tongues, and guards, before an influx of teal takes over the vein cage overlays. Aside from its placement within the Air unit, the shade does not appear again, with complementary accents of maroon-red and white hitting several placements, including the branding, eyestays, and outsole detail. A staple white midsole and black rubber outsole resides underfoot to complete the design.
An official release date for the pair is still unknown, but you should expect to see this understated Nike Air Max Plus sneak into select retailers and Nike.com soon. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
In related news, the silhouette has just popped up in am OG-inspired “Reverse Sunset” colorway.
