The Air Max Plus Appears in An OG-Honoring Blue and Yellow Colorway

Though the Nike Air Max Plus often provides the Nike Sportswear line with some of its most contemporary colorways and themes, it also honors its own heritage in equal measure. From countless Tiger-inspired releases to this new Blue and Yellow colorway that honors the OG “Hyper Blue,” The Air Max Plus looks as much back as it does forward.

Here, this tribute proffers a mich lighters arrangement, ditching the bold black overlays and midsole paints, as well as lightening up the blue to a “University” hue. Bright yellow Swooshes and Air supports stay true to the OG, while blue vein overlays, midfoot shanks, and rubber outsoles continue to give the pair new life. Add to that the addition of Navy Blue in place of jet black, and you’ve got a fresh take on arguably the silhouette’s most revered colorway.

Though the official release date for this new Air Max Plus is unknown, you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months.
