Largely known for its audacious colorways, crazy prints, and aggressive aesthetic, the Nike Air Max Plus has never been afraid to show its teeth. It’s also never shied away from the basics, which oft become some of the silhouette’s best-selling drops. The latest pair to pop up for the TN3 fits the latter, bringing some striking pops of red to an otherwise monochromatic make.
With color is used sparingly, the pair is reliant on high-contrast. Here, light grey uppers, tongue, mudguards, and toe caps work with the jet black of its cage overlays, liners, and sole units for maximum effect. The base is then popped with mere inclusions of red, though it’s arguably responsible for the pair’s most striking features. Mini Swooshes and Air supports provide the pop, and the pair is complete with a grey-to-black gradient midfoot shank, and standard TN branding throughout.
Take a peep at the pair in detail below, and expect these to start rolling out at retailers like Nike.com and Foot Locker over the coming weeks.
