The widely-loved (and equally despised) Air Max Plus has oft brought in some killer nicknames. More recently, it’s adopted Bruce Wayne’s alter ego thanks to its likeness to the Bat Suit from Batman: The Animated Series. Now it seems that the silhouette is starting a running theme of comic crusader colorways, with the surfacing of this aptly-titled “Deadpool” Air Max Plus.
The mostly-black sneaker boasts a stunning red-to-black gradient upper and midfoot shank that captures the despicable Deadpool’s faceless suit. In ode to the cheeky character, the mini Swoosh features a stark white outlined in black — as per the character’s entertaining eyeliner. Elsewhere, the pair arrives in jet black, with 3M finishes aplenty and classic TN branding throughout.
