The Nike Air Max Plus Appears in New Black, White and Red Arrangement

If there’s anything the Nike Air Max Plus is known for, it’s gradients. When Sean McDowell took inspiration from palm trees during a Florida sunset, who knew just what kind of trend he’d set in motion? Still, to this day, the finish plays a key role in the silhouette’s new offerings, like this new effort in black, white, and red that deploys the famed finish in a most minimal manner, all whilst making a statement through bold color blocking.

Though mostly black in its build, the pair’s unique color blocking provides enough visual breaks to prevent the pair from looking bland. Here, it’s bright red tongues and red-to-white gradient vein overlays give the pair the majority of its character, with striking white midsoles, red Air supports, gradient midfoot shanks, and black rubber outsoles all playing a minor role in the pair’s allure.

An official release date for this new Air Max Plus is unknown, but you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months.
