Travel to Europe may appear to be a no-go-zone for North Americans for the foreseeable future, but it’s not stopping Nike from taking a figurative trip throughout the continent with this special-edition collection. The touring thematic which was first previewed on the Air Jordan 1 Mid, now graces this “Euro Tour” Air Max Plus. And while it differs from the lightning-Swooshed pairs from Nike’s retro hoops inclusions, it does include some similar tokens, including graphic insoles and text tongue taping. Like the pack’s Air Max 90, it features an all-over lineal-and-dot print across its upper, although it does arrive in a vastly different color palate than anything else we’ve seen from the collection so far. Mesh uppers host the aforementioned line art in vivid red, whilst the remainder of the sneaker arrives predominately in black, save the grey leather mudguard, heel overlays, and midfoot shank. Completing the design is a pop of 3M reflective at the tongue tips, and a flash of red along the outsoles.
