First Looks // Nike Air Max Plus “Flat Pewter”

Sean McDowell’s Air Max Plus remains at the height of popularity throughout Europe and Australia, with Nike’s continued effort on the retro runner bolstering its stocks for the new year. But it won’t be all color and saturation to start the season, with this new, subdued Air Max Plus “Flat Pewter” appearing as part of the brand’s Spring 2023 schedule.

For this release, Nike started out with a muted grey mesh upper and wrapped it in a white mesh netting. Its surrounding elements remain subdued, too, with translucent vein cage overlays, tonal pewter mudguard, heel, and toe overlays, white and black sole units, and crips whites long the tongue, liners, and midsoles. Lastly, the pair is fitted with a black rubber outsole, and white-to-black gradient midfoot shank to complete the design.

An official release date for this new Air Max Plus “Flat Pewter” is unknown, but you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months.
