The Nike Air Max Plus has a certain status amongst D-Boys, slingers, and graffiti artists the world over. The culture, as it’s often known, is often driven by the TN itself, and as a result, the sneaker often honors it in return. This new Air Max Plus “Graffiti” does just that by honoring it’s OG releases along with special graphic prints which also appear to honor the city of London.
Though it’s hard to make out, the upper’s repetitive text appears to read “London”, amongst other things, in solid black ink. It sits atop a blue-to-orange gradient that ostensibly honors the silhouette’s two original colorways, as does the pair’s black vein overlays and guards. The latter, though, looks to an exotic faux-snakeskin finish, before returning to OG black/white blocking on the midsole. Shanks of lagoon blue counter the vivid red Air supports nearby — a color that’s matched on the branding up top — before staple TN branding and 3M reflective panels complete the design.
An official release date for this Nike Air Max Plus “Graffiti” is still unknown, but you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
