The Nike Air Max Plus has a penchant for churning out colorways as if the silhouette was going out of style (It’s defiantly not – just ask the Australians) Joining that seemingly endless run of new schemes is this Nike Air Max Plus “Hot Swoosh” — a title we’ve given the pair due to its heat map-like gradient work that hones in on the midfoot mini Swoosh. It’s a new finish for the oft-gradient-garbed silhouette, which has seen the chambray finish applied in countless variations over the past twenty-four years.
Perhaps an ostensible not to the OG, the pair have opted for a finish that works outwards from the Swoosh in white, yellow, and red. Like the originals, this too is fitted with black vein overlays, guards, and, toes, too. The sole unit sports an oft-seen black and white split that, like the uppers’ gradient, works inwards to a central focal point — here a black and red gradient midfoot shank. The pair is then completed by pops of neon green along the pair’s fine brand detail, and is capped off with fully-reflective #M heel overlays — just because.
An official release date for the pair is still unknown, but you should expect to see this Nike Air Max Plus “Hot Swoosh” sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
