Known for browsing colorways from time to time, the granddaddy of Tuned Air has just popped up in the form of another, with this new Nike Air Max Plus “Metallic Copper” coming in close relation to 1999’s OG Air Tuned Max “Celery”
Here, though, the pair relies less upon black mesh and more upon the eggplant-like iridescent, with it’s upper tongues, and overlays all boasting the coppery color. Black comes into play underfoot, with gold Air units and gradient shanks in for support. Back up top, the pair is finished off with hits of orange and red around the brand marks, with the pair then completed by special Tuned Air graphic insoles.
Though an official release date for this new Air Max Plus “Metallic Copper” is unknown, you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
