Nike’s upcoming “Athletic Club” collectionwon’t be the only fictional footwear pack on the way, with the Swoosh revealing a new “Air Max Running Club” series with a second edition of the Air Max Plus “Running Club”

The pair in question boasts a heritage running charm thanks to its throwback nylon upper, crimp-cut suede overlays, and exposed-foam tongues. Retro tags at the tongue match “AMRC” and “Beaverton, OR” tags on the eyestays, while vintage tear-away tags are tacked on the right shoe via a special Nike pin (not pictured here, but can bee seen on the just-revealed Navy pair here). There is a huge Optimus Prime vibe going on thanks to the inclusion of vibrant yellow Checks, outsoles, and gradient shanks, the latter joining the Air supports in donning a Light Photo Blue hue. It’s all incased in a sail sole unit to match the laces and tongues above to complete the colorway.

Pairs of these Nike Air Max Plus “Running Club” have already become available at select Swoosh stockists in Europe, and have already been loaded onto US footsites in preparation for a release soon. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below.
