Though it’s mostly known for its gaudy colorways, on occasion, the Nike Air Max Plus can show a more reserved side — but in this instance, it doesn’t lose sight of its ties to eshay culture.
The silhouette is often associated with the graffiti scene, and the use of spray paint-look finishes has been a constant avenue for Nike to utilize. Here, it’s employed dual shadow-like sprayed Swoosh at the midfoot, with its signature solid-state sitting above. All of this arrives in monochrome, with white mesh and overlays hosting grey and black accents, namely on the Swooshes, liners, Air supports and outsoles. The pair is then finished off with classic TN branding throughout, and a fully-reflective heel overlay.
Though an official release date for this new Air Max Plus “Spray Paint Swoosh” is unknown, you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
