Toggle lacing systems are no stranger to the Air Max Plus this season, with a fourth tug-to-tighten TN appearing today in crisp colors.
The mostly-white release is met by few instances of contrast, with only grey Swooshes/outsoles and orange Aur supports and tongue brand providing obvious talking points. But what it lacks in creative blocking, it makes up for in material and utilitarian additions. Noticeably, the pair’s cross-over lacing reaches right down to the mudguard and is fixed at the tongue’s tip by a toggle lock; But there’s more to it than that. It’s modified mesh upper houses a reflective underlayer, whilst its signature vein overlays are replaced by a subtle glazed-on print.
An official release date for this new Air Max Plus Toggle is unknown, but you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
