Nike Air Max Plus “Triple Black” Returns with Reflective Finishes

Though Sean McDowell’s iconic Air Max Plus is often healded for its gaudy colors and use of gradient finishes, in Australia, it’s known mostly for it’s Triple Black build. A few years back, the Triple Black TN was the single best-selling sneaker from Foot Locker Down Under; and given the widespread eshay culture, it’s not really that surprising. Though it comes back every year — sometimes twice, or even thrice — the Swoosh has a new one in the works, with this all-new Nike Air Max Plus “Triple Black Reflective” bringing a fresh twist to the murdered-out makeup.

Just as the title suggests, the pair is fitted out in all-black — and we mean everything; the only expectation being the silhouette’s never-changing TN tags in the rear and underfoot. Here, though, Nike have tacked on a fully-reflective set of vein overlays and midfoot mini Swooshes, whilst a fresh hit of suede at the tongue and patent leather at the heel and mudguard overlays give the design further intrigue.

An official release date for the pair is still unknown, but you should expect to see this new Nike Air Max Plus “Triple Black Reflective” hit select retailers and Nike.com soon.
