Nike Air Max Plus Appears in Awesome Volt and Black

Aside from recent ISPA inventions, the Nike Air Max Plus is arguably the most overt option in Nike’s storied history. Both its design and an endless run of vibrant colorways have established the silhouette as one of Nike’s most daring — even more so 22 years after its debut. Now, having just popped up in an SB Dunk-inspired “Tiffany” take, the Tuned Air takes on something even bolder. This striking Neon/Volt version is, at a first glance, simply executed; Solid neon-color uppers paired with jet blacks and simple whites would suggest this. But closer inspections reveal special hex-woven uppers and overlays finished with a carbon-fiber-like texture. Classic white midsoles counter the set of laces above it, while its black rubber outsoles balance out the supporting liners, tongues, caging and Air supports to complete the design.
