With Spring about to — eh — spring, it means one thing: trainer season. And what better way to welcome in the sun than the iconic Air Max Plus — after all, it was inspired by the sunsets of South Beach. The best thing about Spring? White is in and with this next-up offering of the silhouette, you can tack on a touch of timelessness through retro-inspired coloring and the TN’s signature aggression.
Anchored in bright white mesh, the silhouette’s signature vein overlays work in golden yellow and teal blue gradient finishes — a staple colorway on sneakers from the late 1990s — with the hues also sharing the duties at the midfoot shank, laces flecks, and branding embellishments found throughout. It’s capped with white guards and caps, before adding a smidge of warmth through the introduction of sail sole units. From there, you’ll find black and blue rubber sole units, deep blue Air supports, and your standard 3M reflective panels completing the design — oh, and keeping on theme with the recently-revealed “Carabiner” Air Force 1s, this too comes complete with rock climbing-inspired hardware:
