The Nike Baltoro might not be the first silhouette that comes to mind when thinking about "Nike Boots," but the 35-year-old design played an important role in the brand's roster of products at the turn-of-the-1990s. Having recently returned via a well-received Stüssy collaboration, the high-top will go on a run of its own.
Although the full scope of the Baltoro's retro run has yet to play out, the first three pairs to appear via e-commerce shots showcases a healthy mix of era-appropriate styles and versatile takes. A "Bright Spruce/Fruit Punch" option is revived directly from '90, donning color-blocking that isn't associated much with modern footwear styles. Accompanying "Black" and "Baroque Brown/Midnight Navy" finishes appear at-home amongst Nike's Fall 1990 catalog as they do with the brand's latest products.
Savvy enthusiasts of old school footwear from the Swoosh have already taken to social media to praise the Baltoro retro, while others have dismissed the project in favor of more Air Max Goadome launches.
Enjoy official photos of the newly-surfaced Baltoro trio ahead. Expect handfuls of other styles to surface ahead of their Nike.com launch throughout the next few months.
