Despite an ever-growing list of competitors, Nike Basketball continues to dominate the world's most important hardwoods. As the Swoosh division continues to imagine footwear for the game's youngest athletes, it's celebrating some members of the Gold-winning Team USA roster from the 2024 Summer Olympics with the "Immortalized" collection.
Revealed by reliable sneaker sleuth @brandon1an on X, the lineup includes the LeBron 22, Book 1, and KD 18. Some details of the collection are still under wraps, but multiple pairs worn throughout the international event are expected to launch on Friday, Aug. 8.
What's particularly interesting about the "Immortalized" range is that pairs have two separate SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit)—one for an individual release and one for a two-pair pack drop. Nike hasn't disclosed details about a launch protocol for the collection as of yet, but it's likely LeBron James' sneakers, for example, are offered in a set for those looking to celebrate his legacy.
All items prepped for the "Immortalized" series are set to release via Nike.com on Aug. 8. Stay tuned for firm launch details and official photos.
