Few Nike Basketball colorways carry the legacy of “Dunkman.” First seen on a PE version of the LeBron 2, the green and grey motif has become one of the most enduring and prolific themes in LeBron James’ signature sneaker line. From the LeBron 5 to the 18—and even this year’s LeBron TR1—the theme has resurfaced time and again as a symbol of power, athleticism, and a certain off-the-rim bravado.
Now, the “Dunkman” returns once more with the Nike LeBron 22, offering a modernized take that still feels rooted in the past. The pair leans heavily into tradition, boasting a brushed steel finish across its upper and vivid neon green accents throughout. The famed Dunkman logo—depicting LeBron mid-tomahawk slam—returns, subtly embroidered into the medial side of the shoe’s support shank. Elsewhere, metallic overlays and updated textures give the performance model a more refined, premium touch, aligning with the elevated build of the LeBron 22 series.
The Nike LeBron 22 “Dunkman” is expected to release in the summer of 2025, with specific dates to follow.
