The Denver Bronco’s Championship win in 2016’s Superbowl 50 was the feather in the cap for Peyton Manning’s future Hall of Fame resume. The widely-loved Manning’s underdog Denver team shut-down the heavily-favored Carolina Panthers led by regular-season MVP (with a QB rating of 99.4) Cam Newton. The historic moment was celebrated by Nike with a special Nike ID dunk High and Low program, in which you could customize your own sneaker in the champ’s colors. In 2020 we see the theme return on the Nike Dunk Low, although this time around we won’t get to tinker with its blocking.
Like the recently-dropped “Brazil” and upcoming “St Johns” Dunk Low colorways, this is also blocked traditionally, with one-color uppers, liner, and tongues, here in University Orange, with overlays, laces, and outsoles all aligning to Marine. Completing the design are stark white midsoles, white brand motifs on the tongue, and NIKE embroidered in orange on the heels.

In other OG Dunk news, both the Kentucky and Syracuse Dunk Highs are tipped to return in 2021.
