Slowly veering away from more traditional colorway (if you can call them that) the Nike Dunk Scrap is venturing even further into the experimental, with the silhouette’s first mismatched colorway appearing online today.
Given its mostly monochromatic make-up, a first glance may not immediately reveal the pair’s asymmetrical arrangement, but a closer inspection shows that not everything is perfectly balanced. For instance, the pair’s lateral mesh panels arrive in opposing black and white finishes, despite both sharing white mesh on the medial side As a result, the lateral Swooshes alternate, too, as do the tongues, toe boxes, and heel. There are shared embroidery colors of red, volt, blue, and pink — and even these aren’t perfectly mirrored from shoe to toe. What is, though, is the white and blue sole units underfoot, and the set of flat black laces up top.
