As has been the case for Nike Hoops All-Star Footwears for the past few years, we’re seeing a common theme for the signature Swoosh athletes in 2021. This year, though, it’s not an overarching color palette that’s setting the tone, instead opting for sustainability as the key component. This underlying aspect has allowed each athlete to deliver their own unique colorway, just as Kyrie Irving has done here on his Nike KD 13 “All-Star” offering.

Though there’s no apparent theme for KD, it does appear to link the natural abalone shell and pearls of the ocean with the cool cement and neon lights of the city. It, like the others from the Nike Basketball All-Star collection, utilizes multi-color fleck across the laces, stain glass-like embellishments at the collar, and All-Star rubber badging at the toe.
