A nostalgic resurgence is on the horizon as the Nike KD 4 "Weatherman," a fan-favorite from the Kevin Durant signature line, gears up for its first-ever retrospective release.
Earlier this year, Nike delighted Durant enthusiasts by reissuing the much-celebrated KD 3 "All-Star" from 2011. The release was met with enthusiastic acclaim, confirming a high demand for retrospective releases akin to the Kobe and LeBron lines, Perhaps even more so than the latter.
For 2024, Nike will reinstate Kevin Durant's fourth signature sneaker in some of the most beloved colorways; amongst those is the Nike KD 4 "Weatherman."
The "Weatherman" KD 4 was an apt representation for the times, paying homage to Durant's capacity to "make it rain" on the court, especially given that he had just won back-to-back scoring titles when the sneaker first hit the shelves. It also plays into Durant's childhood dream of becoming a broadcast weatherman.
