As Nike’s Kobe line continues to gain momentum with retro releases and new takes on archival models, early mock-ups have surfaced for a possible Kobe 3 Low “Purple Venom” colorway, rumored to be part of the All-Star Weekend lineup in Spring 2026.
While not confirmed, the speculative design imagines the rarely-seen Kobe 3 Low dressed in a bold “Purple Venom” and black combination. It retains the silhouette’s signature lattice-structured TPU shell, with vibrant purple mesh underlays and matching accents on the heel Swoosh, tongue, and outsole branding. The tooling underfoot appears consistent with previous Kobe 3 designs, including a textured black sole and Zoom Air cushioning.
Originally worn by Bryant during the 2007–08 season, the Kobe 3 has seen limited retro attention compared to its successors. However, with the Kobe line expanding and All-Star Weekend serving as a key storytelling moment, a reimagined low-top version of the Kobe 3 would be a fitting addition.
The Nike Kobe 3 Low ASW “Purple Venom” has not been officially confirmed but is expected to release in Spring 2026. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
