After the official unveiling of the “Mystery Box” Nike Kyrie 7 release for November 11th — Kyrie’s next signature colorway has been revealed — and this time you’ll know exactly what you’ll be getting.
Tipped to be arriving a few weeks after the debut drop is this “Brooklyn” colorway that aligns with their recently-leaked city-edition uniforms that honor the late Brooklyn artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat. It’s mostly black and white make is sure to be a mass-market favorite — a certified moneymaker for Nike. Here, noir and white woven uppers are met with jet blacks at the forefoot plastics, rear counters, and midsoles, while simple whites provided some striking contrast at the Swooshes, heel insignia, and soles. From there, Nike introduces flashes of color, including primary color pops at the Guard’s KI tongue logo and upper eyelets, a strong golden yellow graphic on the insole, and a muted teal at the forefoot Zoom Air clip which frames the midsole teeth
