Having crossed over on a handful of colorways, Brooklyn Nets teammates and fellow Nike signature athletes Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will once more share a common theme, with their respective shoes appearing as part of an upcoming Nike Hoops pack. Its theme? It appears to be historical elements from their careers, including nods to their Rookie of the Year titles and NBA titles, as well as callouts to their personal lives, like nods to their mothers, amongst many other motifs. All of this comes muddled in a multi-color upper that, from a distance, resembles my grandma’s sofa from the mid-1990s. The players then do a jersey swap underfoot, with Kyrie sporting KD’s #7 underfoot, and KD rocking with Kyrie’s rarely seen #11
