This New Nike LeBron 16 Celebrates All 16 Lakers Championships

C’hip city.

LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers may be a world away from the 2019 NBA Finals, but it won’t stop the King and Nike from reminiscing about the franchise’s past championship successes — and there’s been a lot of them.

With 16 NBA C’hips in the book, the LA Lakers are the most successful team in the West’s history, and second only to the Boston Celtics (17) in NBA Championships. This newest edition of the LeBron 16 celebrates the sixteen by adorning the championship years across the Minneapolis Lakers-colored heel panels. The front of the shoe, however, arrives in a more recognizable purple and gold, completed with black hits on the King James logos, oversized tongue “23” branding, medial Swoosh and liner.

Take in a detailed look at the Nike LeBron 16 “Heritage” below, and expect a release to land at select Swoosh houses like Finish Line and directly from on  May 31st for $200.
