While we’ve been busy looking back at past LeBron’s for our Concept inspirations, Nike has been looking to other product lines for influence, with this Air Jordan 6 “Infrared”-inspired LeBron 17colorway the newest in a long-line of retro-inspired kicks for the king.
In the recent past, we’ve seen sneakers like the Air Max 95 and Air Tech Challenge II take over James’ signature line — and this is not the first time a Jordan has hit his signature line, either, with both White Cement three and Black Metallic 5-inspired options also making their way to court. But this Infrared LeBron 17 will be the first Jumpman-inspired pair to hit retail.
It arrives in a black woven upper, intertwined with vibrant red Foamposite from the forefoot to the rear. Midsoles arrive in translucent black equipped with white flipped Swooshes, and bold red-tint Air units in the rear. Tongue detail mimics that of Mike’s PE #23 found on the preceding signature model, the Air Jordan 5, while a Dunkman-branded Jordan 6-style lace-lock completes the design.
