2021 was a big year for the Nike SB Dunk — and if the first few weeks of 2022 is anything to go by, then the new year will be bigger again, with collaborations from the likes of Polaroid and Carpet Company joining GRs informed by paisley prints, stoned fruit, and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Now it appears that Nike Skateboarding will once again revisit their ongoing J-Pack Series (Air Jordan-inspired colorways) for a brand new installment; the Nike SB Dunk Low “Black Toe”
As it did with 2020’s “Chicago” colorway, this pair rips the OG color panel for panel, with like white leather uppers, red leather quarters, and Black Swooshes, collars, forefoot overlays. Fattie mesh tongues are done up in white, with tongue tags akin to the 1985 OG, and it rests atop a white and red rubber sole unit.
Currently, the pair is not confirmed for release — the sample images show that production was in late 2019 as a look-see sample to the aforementioned Chicago release — but that does not mean that Nike SB won’t have plans to release these at some stage in the future. Here’s hoping, anyways.
