Dive deep into the realm of horror films, and you'll uncover a few characters that persistently creep into our nightmares. Among the pantheon of dread-inducing icons, "Candyman" is one that has a hypnotic allure that's impossible to shake.

Just as the echoes of a cursed whisper beckon the evil spirit, our conceptual Nike SB Dunk Low "Candyman" captures the eeriness of the legend, binding it to the tangible. The sweet-sounding menace, "Candyman," is anything but, and similarly, this sneaker has a duality that makes it both compelling and unsettling.

The exterior in dual-tone tan and brown paired with the fleece-lined collar and tongue harks back to the urban legend's signature jacket, an emblem of his stylish yet ominous presence. Beneath this, however, lurks the real terror. A silver Swoosh, sharp and gleaming like Candyman's hook, tears across the sneaker's flank, hinting at the violence of the tale. Bees, those tiny heralds of his haunting presence, swarm subtly on the lateral ankle.

Then, a special treat — or should we say trick? Peek inside, and the insoles mirror a swampy realm, with a cheeky "Just Say It" playfully mocking the ritual of evoking the spirit. It's a nod to both Nike's iconic slogan and the dare that has led many a character astray in the films.

This October, our Concept Lab delves into the sinister world of horror, turning the silver screen's darkest tales into sneaker lore. Be it Candyman's hypnotic chant or another monster's fearsome growl, which terror do you want to tread with next? Let us know on Twitter, if you dare.

If you're left wanting more, then you can check out our Dunk renders of "The Shining's" Jack Torrance and "Friday The 13th's" Jason Voorhees.
