Bo Jackson’s Nike Trainer SC High bobbed up a few times in 2021, then dipped. It’s not really a good way to celebrate its 30th anniversary, right? In fairness, it was probably part of crippling COVID delays, which has seen models like the Air Max 95 and Air Presto celebrate their respective anniversaries a year later. It appears that it will also be the case for the Nike Trainer SC, with a brand-new iteration appearing today to continue the belated birthday celebrations.
This one is not your average or typical, as it boasts a construction that is ostensibly inspired by outdoor were. With a canvas upper, suede overlays, corduroy Checks, and crochet-knit tongues, the pair sees one of its biggest materials overhauls in years. Its scheme is something new, too, arriving in hues of green, gold, wheat, beige, and brown, the latter three servicing the bulk of the shoe’s structure. Green and gold accents are fluttered throughout, from the forefoot overlays to the cord Checks and heels, and the pair is completed by a sole unit comprised of pure white EVA foam and milky-translucent outsoles.
A release date for this new canvas, corduroy, and crochet Nike Trainer SC High is yet to be revealed, but pairs are expected to land on Nike.com very, very soon. Be sure to follow our official House of Heat Twitter page for further updates, and in the meantime check out the detailed images below.
