Nike unveil Kendrick Lamar’s Cortez Kenny 1

Well, Damn.

Kendrick Lamar and Nike are finally ready to officialy kick-off their partnership with the debut of the Cortez Kenny 1 ahead of Grammy night.

Back in October, a Red-based Nike Cortez sample surfaced, followed by a custom “Don’t Trip” pair for Kobe Bryant’s jersey retirement ceremony. While neither pair will be the retail version, Nike has finally given us a look of what’s to come.

Dressed in a White, Black, and Gym Red color scheme. Lamar’s Nike Cortez will be branded with his latest album’s title, “DAMN” on the tongues paired with a Swoosh logo. Highlighting the shoe, Nike replaces the Swoosh logos with “DAMN” printed on the sides.

Kendrick Lamar’s Cortez Kenny 1 to release on January 26th at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $100 USD.
