Where to Buy the Nike Dunk Low “Winter Solstice”

In 2021, the Nike Dunk has lived on both ends of the creative spectrum. From countless white leather and color overlayed drops, to colorful concoctions like the crazy “Firecracker” Dunk Lows for Chinese New Year, to the recently-revealed “Ice” option to welcome in the Winter season. This new Nike Dunk Low “Winter Solstice” AKA “Sunset” does that, too, though it specifically hones in on the Northern Hemisphere’s shortest day of the year, the Winter Solstice.

Pairing pink leathers with dusky shades of muted and red-orange suede, the pair immediately evokes a feeling of the evening sky. Several sun-setting details are stitched into the upper and its overlays, with beaming rays and suns themselves, embroidered on in contrast hues of yellow, orange, and beige from heel to toe. There are finer details too, like ribbed nylon tongues, and both tags and insoles reading out the date and time of the 2021 Winter Solstice, before returning to staple finishes like flat laces (in pink) and a two-tone sole unit to complete the design.

Though a release date for this Nike Dunk Low “Winter Solstice” is not yet known and given that the Winter Solstice is scheduled to occur on December 21st, it is expected to arrive as part of the brand’s Holiday 2021 lineup (currently earmarked for December 16th).
