The Air Max 97 gets an ultra combo

And it kicks off with a colorway made for Guile.

With all of the Nike Air Max 97 OG colorways exhausted through retros, the silhouette can go one of two ways. Pop it on ice for a few years – or explore some new avenues. And it look to be the latter, with this Ultra edition scheduled to be releasing in a heap of new colorways for Spring.

It comes with a modern twist, including an update on the curve and sharper details, and it arrives in a mix suede and synthetic leather. But this won’t be messing with the iconic full-length Air Unit below – a staple of the AM97.

We’re yet to receive a release date for the new Nike Air Max 97 Ultra ’17 SE seen below, but you can expect these and a plethora of fresh new colorways to be hitting retailers in the very near future.
