The Nike Flightposite is Celebrating Chinese New Year
If Pigs could Flightposite. . .
Nike’s epic 2019 Chinese New Year “Year of the Pig” collection continues to unfold, with some of the Swoosh’s most iconic silhouettes featuring prominently in the celebration. But there’s also a few sleepers in the collection, like this recently-surface Nike Air Flightposite.
This isn’t the first time Nike has released a CNY-themed Flightposite. Back in 2014, the Swoosh dropped an exclusive colorway of the Exposed version of the model celebrating the “Year of the Horse.” This year, Nike return to the OG, offering up a pair that boasts a vibrant purple and pink gradient shell that hints at traditional Bai Jia Yi patchwork. Black neoprene appears on the inner bootie and midfoot paired with a black and gold speckled sole unit.
Grab a detailed look at the “Chinese New Year” Nike Air Flightposite below, before it’s release in Greater China on January 10th. A Stateside release is still to be confirmed, so stay tuned for more!
