Another Air Max Joins the French-Inspired World Cup Collection 🇫🇷⚽️
Un autre.
Yet another France-inspired Nike has surfaced, this time it’s the Air Max 720 joining the ever-growing line up that includes the previously previewed Air Max 98 (and the other Air Max 98), Air Jordan 1, Air Max Plus, Air VaporMax 2019, Zoom 2K and the React Element 55.
Celebrating the 2019 FIFA World Cup host nation and Swoosh-sponsored France, all pairings take inspiration from the ladies all-new alternate uniforms (pictured further below), which feature an all-over navy polka dot print on white, seen here on the Air Max 720’s midsole-plastic piece and heel pull. The rest of the sneaker arrives in an extremely minimal makeup, sporting a white mesh upper paired with white overlays, blue Swoosh branding and, also linking into the French national Kits, metallic bronze tongue branding which mimics the uniform’s crest and Swoosh branding. Liek the other pairs in the pack, the iconic French Footballing phrase featured on both the men and women’s uniforms, Nos Differences Nous Unissent — translating to Our Differences Unite Us — is split across the medial detail completed the design.
Take in a detailed look at the Wolrd Cup Nike Air Max 720 “France” below ahead of its release on May 16th, at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com — with the Cup kicking off on June 7th, when the host nation takes on South Korea in Paris.
