Will KD head back East?
With the New York Knicks set to have plenty of cap space available for the upcoming free agency class, there’s been speculation that their main target will be East Coast native Kevin Durant.
Knicks fans have now begun attempting to recruit Durant, as a new billboard set up near Madison Square Garden is putting the good vibes out there.

But will KD make the move from the winningest franchise in recent years to one that takes more Ls than hopefuls sneakerheads on Nike SNKRS every Saturday?
There have been rumors for a while that Durant doesn’t intend to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors come season’s end, which has lead to speculation about where the former MVP will end up, with most experts like ESPN journalist Zach Lowe predicting he’ll choose the Knicks.

It’s important to note that KD is from DC, so a move closer to home isn’t entirely off the cards. He also has an apartment in Manhattan, which he resides in the off season.
If the Knicks do end up landing Big Kev, it could help transform them from a rebuilding team to a playoff contender in a heartbeat, especially when Kristaps Porzingis returns back healthy and in full flight.
However, knowing the Knicks, they’ll likely find a way to blow the deal, turn KD sour on the move or just no even try to get him in the first place 🤦🏽♂️
