New Balance 993 "Community Pink" Releases Oct. 1

The New Balance Made in USA team—helmed by Teddy Santis—is closing out the year with more NB 993 releases. Recently, the beloved silhouette emerged in a "Pink Taffy" color scheme that's been linked to the success of the New Balance 990v6 "Community" Pack from August.

Accompanied by the "Community Blue" 993, the newly-surfaced style features the same premium build with which it debuted in 2008. Pig suede and mesh come together across the upper, which sees the latter tone indulge in a pitch-black hue. The dark base allows for grey reflective panels and "Pink Taffy" overlays to revel in the spotlight. Nods to the sneaker's domestic production appear on the tongue and spine. Underfoot, the ABZORB and ACTEVA cushioning solution opts for a predominantly-dark-colored presentation.
